Week 5 Picks Recap

I’m 35-23 going into week 5. Let’s see how I did.

Cardinals vs Rams: Cardinals 21, Rams 14.
Wrong. Should have known the Cardinals couldn’t keep it going.

Dolphins vs Bengals: Bengals 24, Dolphins 20.
Wrong. Dang Dolphins. Or Bengals. One of those.

Packers vs Colts: Packers 28, Colts 10.
Wrong. Time to move the Packers down in the Power Rankings. WAY down.

Ravens vs Chiefs: Ravens 31, Chiefs 10.
Right. However, with a 9-6 win, the Ravens should be looking at themselves. Hard.

Browns vs Giants: Giants 20, Browns 14.
Right. Giants finally proved they could put up some points.

Eagles vs Steelers: Steelers 20, Eagles 17.
Right. Steelers just barely eked out a win here.

Falcons vs Redskins: Falcons 28, Redskins 19.
Right. Is RGIII going to play next week after his injury?

Seahawks vs Panthers: Panthers 21, Seahawks 17.
Wrong. Seahawks eke out a win in a low-scoring match up.

Bears vs Jaguars: Bears 28, Jaguars 14.
Right. Bears won. By a lot.

Titans vs Vikings: Vikings 24, Titans 19.
Right! Vikings have their first 3-game winning streak since 2009 and score 30 points!

Broncos vs Patriots: Patriots 27, Broncos 19.
Right.

Bills vs 49ers: 49ers 31, Bills 20.
Right.

Chargers vs Saints:  Chargers 27, Saints 21.
Wrong. Sean Payton was in the house but the Saints weren’t allowed to show him on the in-house screens. Drew Brees now holds the record for consecutive games with a passing touchdown. Johnny Unitas’ record had stood since 1960.

Texans vs Jets:  Texans 42, Jets 6.
Right. Texans are 5-0.

With these picks I’m now 45-32 on the season. Still have some work to do in the picks arena, but 10-5 is not a terrible showing. Especially when the Packers lost to the Colts. Delicious!
